I carry a passionate heart for the Pathwork and all its gifts; loving to support others’ transformational journeys & “openings of the heart”. I deeply trust the Divine Essence in all of us that knows each next step for deepening the connection to our true Self & Life Force energy. What a joy and honor to support these movements!
I am a Helper who has been a member of the GLP Pathwork Community since 1986. I’m also trained as a Core Energetics Therapist and a Qi Gong/Healing Touch Practitioner. I work with Non-Violent Communication and the current research regarding the nerou-plasticity of the brain in healing childhood trauma. My M.A. is in Educational Administration with a BFA in Art and Business. I am on staff both in the Great Lakes Pathwork Region and Colorado Pathwork. Hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing, sunsets, and appreciating the beauty of nature everywhere (especially Hawaii) fills my heart with joy.

Denise Kander MPH. Pathwork Helper/Brennan Integration Practitioner
My love and connection to the Pathwork began in 1997 and it has been through my own continued personal search into the many layers and relationship to the self and the body that I bring my compassionate heart, longing and love into my work as a Pathwork Helper and Brennan Integration Practitioner.
My work and educational background includes a B.S. degree in Health Science and Nutrition from Michigan State University and a M.S. degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan. I worked as a Director of Health and Wellness in the corporate world developing and instituting programs and consulting. Working with individuals and leading small groups I found to be most exciting and decided to focus my energy on the psychological and energetic realms connecting the body and mind and began a long and intense study of both Pathwork and Brennan Healing Science work concurrently in the late 90’s. I completed many transformational programs including 4 years in both the Pathwork Transformational program and Brennan Healing science program, a 6-½ year Pathwork Helpership program in Toronto, a 2- year Brennan Advanced Studies program, and an international advanced studies program for Helpers in the Pathwork. Currently, I am a teacher in training at the Brennan school in Florida, and am working at my private practice, since ’04, Pathwork to Healing, in Oxford, Michigan. I work with individuals, (in person, long distance and through skype sessions) groups, couples, and women’s groups, helping clients find their way into a deeper connection to themselves, their bodies, and in their relationships with others adding more joy, pleasure, passion and longing and ultimately enriching the quality of life.
In addition to my passion for this work, I love spending time with my family, my husband of 24 years and my two, now adult children. I also enjoy my dog and cats, being in nature, hiking, biking and gardening.

Helping people grow is my passion and privilege. Happily, I made this discovery early in my career which led to work as a team consultant, leadership coach, teacher and author in the business world. Fortunately, while trying to figure out how to glue a broken heart back together, I stumbled upon the Pathwork teachings which helped me untwist a lot of tangled thinking that was holding me back from a truly fulfilling life. Best of all, this process helped clear a path to my soul’s deepest wisdom, love and peace. As I continued to study Pathwork, I realized that Helpership was a wonderful marriage of my skills and my passion. I’ve had the honor and pleasure of working with others through teaching and spiritual counseling since graduation from the Toronto Helpership Program in 2005. I’m part of the Great Lakes Path leadership team as well. I’m delighted to share that Pathwork Press is publishing my new book Lessons From My Path in 2014.
